small about Debbie Blue Shirt.jpg

Welcome!

Debbie Sariñana is a Democrat who has represented New Mexico House District 21 since 2016. She has dedicated her life to public service, focused on the students, veterans, and working families of New Mexico. As a military veteran and lifelong public school teacher for twenty years, Debbie has seen firsthand what families need to have in place to succeed—great public classrooms, safe neighborhoods, affordable healthcare, and a cost of living that matches what families make.

As your State Representative, Debbie has helped lead the charge to improve our public schools, expand veteran services, bring more dollars to our police and fire departments, and protect our air and water. One of her proudest accomplishments has been sponsoring and passing our nation-leading Teacher Residency Bills, which pairs new teachers with master teachers for an entire year. This past year alone, New Mexico graduated 98 exceptionally qualified new teachers who are now in classrooms across the state.

She is the proud mother of three adult children, whom she raised as a single parent with the help of her family.

By November 3rd, please vote to re-elect State Representative Debbie Sariñana for House District 21!
